Taco soup

The flavors of a taco in a soup! Very simple to make, and popular, even with picky kiddos.

Serves 4

1 lb ground beef

1 med onion, chopped

15 oz tomato sauce

1 C broth (beef is good)

1 can pinto beans

1/2 cup corn (fresh, frozen, canned)

1/2 -1 package taco seasoning (or make your own)

(optional: hot sauce to taste)

garnish: olives, cheese, sour cream, corn or tortilla chips

Brown and drain beef and onion together. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 20-25 minutes (or more with more broth as needed). You can also add in other veggies your family enjoys, such as peppers or tomatoes.
