Freezer mentality

I just had a baby. Well, not just. She’s two months old at this point! But before she was expected, I filled our freezer so I could have less to do when she was young. I made shwarma pies, jachnoon, quiches, kugels, and more. The biggest thing was 12 pounds of meatballs I rolled and packaged raw. Very helpful–if only I would use them!

I seem to have trouble emptying out my freezer. It always seems like there will be a worse need for convenience down the road, and so I wait…but it isn’t money saving and it isn’t helpful if it’s not used! So I’m making a point to start in on some of those things I prepared. Not something that I can really complain about, I know.

Anyone else with this particular “trouble”? 😉
