Meal planning resources

A big part of organizing yourself is finding out what works for you, right? But what works for you isn’t necessarily what works for anyone else, which can make using someone else’s preplanned printables frustrating. So should you give up altogether?

Of course not! I have my own Menu plan template and grocery list, including a staples list. I write in my menu plan, have my grocery list sorted into a few categories, and have a list of staples. Once something we use regularly (grains, raw ingredients like vinegar or sugar, cans, etc.) is used up, I can just circle it to replenish our stock. This is what works for me.

But there are lots of other printable resources out there. Check them out and see what works for you!

Money Saving Mom has a menu-planning pack with different options that may work for you :1, 2, and 4 week menu plans, grocery list with price and space for coupon notes, etc. (This is a great site for a lot of deals, coupons, and organizational inspiration. Fair warning: there are posts from a different religion, but the bulk of the things don’t mention religion.)

There are some other printable downloads available from the project girl, organized home, life…your way, and better budgeting (with some budgeting and other money saving printables as well.) Want 20 free printable menu planners? Just go here!

Don’t be afraid to take what you can use from what’s out there. And make if your own!

What would you add? I’d love to see your resources as well.
