Back to our regularly scheduled programming

…some time soon. You may have notice it’s quieter than usual here at OJH. I know you’re desperately missing some posts. At least that’s what I’m telling myself! 😉

Well, we are moving. We’re leaving this country for dh’s job. And getting a household ready to move internationally, and then taking care of the myriad details for the trip, the house cleanup, kids sanity, and more is a really big job! Plus, I’ve been preparing for my talk at the Torah Home Education Conference – did you know you can attend in your jammies from home?

That, plus helping the kids through the transition, packing, and cleaning up have been keeping me from blogging much. But I have lots of interesting material I’m writing for the conference, and will be fleshing it out a bit more here. And we finished Pharaoh chicken, and then buried him wrapped up in a shoebox sarcophagus with some clay “terracotta warriors” as guards. We didn’t do much for parsha this week, but bli neder I will retroactively put up the roundup post for future reference when things settle a little,.

I’m so excited to speak to some of you at the conference (and of course, in comments and e-mails, too!)
