So you’ve just decluttered and cleaned out your home. Great! (We’ve sure done a lot of that recently!)
But what do you do with the pile of stuff you’d like to give away? For some people, it can be hard to load it up and take it to a thrift store or donation center. Or it’s inconvenient, and maybe doesn’t get done.
Here is a good site to use: gooddonor.org After setting up a (free) account, this site lets you choose a donation group (Vietnam Vets, Lupus foundation, Goodwill, Purple Heart, and more) and schedule a pickup. They’ll come to you!
There are some things some organizations won’t take (e.g. big pieces of furniture), but you can view all of that as you are setting up your pickup and choose one that wants what you have. You can get a receipt for tax purposes, too.
Talk about an easy way to give!
