21 Days to a More Disciplined Life (and my first giveaway!)

A while ago, I had a post titled, “Where’s Amital?” Remember that old series “Where’s Waldo?” I feel a kind of kinship with the red-and-white striped guy lately, or at least my usual productivity does. I wrote about the calm after the storm (moving), but find myself in another spot of calm after the holidays of Tishrei. And finding some momentum – or dare I say it, discipline – again and jumping back into the fray is tough. But I’ve been working on it. Baby steps, right? I had kind of followed along with Moneysavingmom’s 21 Days to a More Disciplined Life series when it originally came out in November 2011, but life kind of jumped in there and I lost track part of the way through.

Which is why, now that we’re settled and through Tishrei, I was thrilled to see this e-book come out and jumped on the chance to review a copy. And it’s a good read.

I’ve been reacting to life instead of creating the life I want. I wrote that before, and it’s still true in many respects. Here is something that spoke to me from the introduction of 21 Days to a More Disciplined Life:

I don’t need to buy hundreds of dollars on organizational products. I don’t need 20 books on how to live a disciplined life. I don’t need to somehow trade my life in for someone else’s. Instead, I need to commit to change myself from the inside out, one step at a time, one day at a time, for 21 days straight.

Yup, that’s me. I have been looking around for the right changes, the right systems, but moving forward and applying them…well, I need a push. Here it is!

This e-book is a step-by-step guide to getting more disciplined in life. It’s a positive and encouraging way to get you working toward a directed, purposeful life. It guides you through day by day steps toward your own goals. That’s the best way to make major changes – baby steps, right?

A few notes: The author is not Jewish, and although there are a few mentions of “God,” they are general and certainly something we can put into our framework with no trouble. Also, if you decide to buy, and do so through my links, I will get a small commission (thank you!).

From now until Thursday night, this e-book is on sale for $0.99. After that, the price rises to the regular $4.99.

You can get the kindle edition here for the same price, too. Get it before Friday for the best bargain.

Now for the exciting news: My first ever giveaway! I have three copies of this e-book to give away.  <Updated> winners already chosen – you should have received an e-mail from me.

I need your correct e-mail address for this to work, pretty please. 😉 Thanks to lots of spam, I have to manually approve each comment, but don’t worry-I will get to it quickly!

Time to get to it!
