Passover is an expensive time of year. Even if you try to stay on your regular food budget (hard, but some people do!), the other spending can really add up. What other spending? New clothes for kids New jewelry / clothes / scarves / etc. for wives (maybe husbands, too, but wives are a mitzva!) …
