Some 2012 goals

English: Everything starts from needs or desir...

I know, I know, this isn’t really our new year. I mean, it is, but yet it isn’t, right? But there is something about a new year that gets me thinking about resolutions, maybe revamping those that I made a few short months ago, maybe just taking more time to set up some.

Back to this week’s challenge of goals…have you set any yet? (Check out the 52 week challenge introduction if you haven’t seen it yet, too.)

I started out trying to come up with a whole slew of goals in different categories that I felt comfortable writing about and sharing the world. But I’ve scrapped that, and I’m going simple!

I am planning one big goal a month for now. Of course, I do have a few other things on my wishlist, but focusing on one goal will work for me.

This month, I am really focusing on my own health. I have found that since the birth of my fourth baby, I have a harder time exercising, sleeping, and even eating! I’ve been feeling the effects, too. So I’m going to make that my biggest priority this month.

Weird, maybe, but this Mommy needs some work to feel the best for me and my kids. This week, I’m going to be focusing on eating enough protein–something that is difficult for this basically vegetarian breastfeeding mother! Baby steps, right?

I’m still going to be following my regular routines, organizing, and decluttering as I prepare for a move in a few months.

The rest of the blogging world is awash with resolutions. See some other blogger’s goal here at these links:

Do you have any goals set?
